PURPOSE: A system and a method for a coupon service using a mobile communication terminal and a barcode are provided to offer more convenient coupon service by making users not hold the coupon and to facilitate the data collection for a customer oriented service such as the CRM(Customer Relationship Management). CONSTITUTION: The mobile communication terminal(1) receives and stores the coupon. A computer terminal(200) connects to a mobile communication company web server(500) for requesting the coupon. A coupon system(100) comprises a main server(110) including a barcode generating/converting part(111), a transaction processing part(112), a controlling part(113), a member information backup database(114), a transaction information backup database(115) and an image database(116), and a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)/WEB server(120) providing a member management function and various kinds transaction service information. A mobile communication network system(200) includes a relay(210), an MSC(Mobil Switching Center)(220), an IWF(Inter-Working Functions)(230) and a WAP gateway(240). A POS(Point On Sale) system(300) comprises a barcode reader and a POS gateway(320). A customer management/billing server provides the service for the customer information.
