PURPOSE: A monitoring apparatus on demand, a receiving apparatus, and a method for demanding and transmitting data are provided to obtain data photographing a specific place at any time and at any place. CONSTITUTION: A control part(161) generates a control signal. A camera(111) takes a photograph of a specific place in response to the control signal, and converts the photographed image into digital data. A compressing part(121) receives the digital data from the camera for compressing the digital data. A transmitting and receiving part(131) receives data output from the compressing part for transmitting to the outside in response to the control signal and receives an outer signal. A ring-tone detecting part(141) receives a signal transmitted from a terminal(105) for transmitting to the control part and receives the signal output from the control part for transmitting to a communication network(NT) through the transmitting and receiving part. An information announcement originating part(151) transmits a predetermined information announcement to the terminal in response to the control signal.
