METHOD FOR MANAGING PROGRAM VERSION IN WCDMA ASYNCHRONOUS MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing a program version in a WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) asynchronous mobile communication system is provided to manage the program version using a tool tip text. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication system receives programs to be executed from a corresponding administration system(S1). The mobile communication system gathers information of the programs when the programs are downloaded before executing the downloaded each program for managing versions of the programs later(S2). The mobile communication system stores gathered program version information in a PLD(Programmable Load Data)(S3). If the administration system requests version information of an OS(Operating System) or an application program executed in the mobile communication system, the mobile communication system receives the request of version information of the OS or the application program from the administration system(S4). The mobile communication system reads version information of the program stored in the PLD, and transmits read version information of the program to the administration system(S5).
