PURPOSE: Provided is a method for easily and accurately determining amount of final input when striking a pile on ground and/or on the sea, and for confirming safety of workers and efficient striking work. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises preparing an observation paper(200) by drawing lines at constant interval; attaching the observation paper on surface of a pile(100) reached a rock floor(600) by hammering(400) the pile when determining input amount of the pile to be remarkably reduced; mounting a device(300) to determine the amount at a position spaced from the pile; and reading numerical values displayed on the observation paper to determine the final input amount of the pile.
