PURPOSE: An apparatus for mounting and separating a seat from a vehicle is provided to install and separate the seat from the vehicle conveniently and easily by assembling a locking groove with installing a locking unit and an elastic unit in seat legs. CONSTITUTION: A seat leg(12) is integrally formed with an installation bracket(13) and fixed in the lower part of a seat cushion(11) by a bolt. A through hole(12a) is formed vertically in the upper part of the seat leg, and an installation groove(21) is formed in a vehicle body floor(20). A wire is connected with a lever(18) to lock or unlock in a locking groove(21a) of the installation groove and with a tension spring(15) mounted in the through hole. Locking balls(16) are formed at both sides of the tension spring to lock or release the seat. The seat is locked or unlocked conveniently and easily with the locking unit and the elastic unit.
