PURPOSE: An opening device of a trunk lid is provided to easily open the trunk lid by suitably controlling the tension of an extension spring and to reduce replacing cost of components. CONSTITUTION: An opening device of a trunk lid(10) is composed of a pair of trunk lid brackets(21) installed to an inner panel of the trunk lid at regular intervals and an extension spring(23) of which one end is connected to the trunk lid bracket. A tension control device(40) regulating the tension of the extension spring is coupled with the other end of the extension spring and fixed on a rear fender inner panel(31). When the function of the extension spring and the opening motion of the trunk lid are gradually reduced according to working period of a vehicle, the tension control device installed to the rear fender inner panel regulates optimally the tension of an extension spring.
