PURPOSE: A cinerary urn using porous mica ore and ceramic mineral is provided to prevent damage of the ashes of the dead and purify the air around the cinerary urn by improving deodorizing and dehumidification effects. CONSTITUTION: A cinerary urn is produced by the steps of baking the mica ore and ceramic mineral at a granule state at the temperature of 600 to 700 Deg.C; foaming the baked structure such that the structure has a gravity of 0.25 to 0.50g/cm3; crushing the foamed product into 80 to 100 meshes; and producing a cinerary urn from the mixture of 60 to 70 weight percent fine particle of the crushed mica ore and ceramic mineral and 30 to 40 weight percent clay.
