PURPOSE: A traffic information terminal is provided to safely notify an urgent event to the police with maintaining a secret by installing an urgent switch, thereby improving the efficiency thereof. CONSTITUTION: A traffic information terminal includes a various function keys so as to require various information by connecting the traffic information center through a user operation, a display panel for displaying the information applied from the traffic information center, a code division multiple access(CDMA) module for sending/receiving the information and the information requirement signal through a wireless communication method, an urgent switch(SOS1) for informing the urgent event of the automobile by the operation of the user and a secret urgent switch(SOS2) installed on a place for being secretly operated by the user.
