PURPOSE: A heat exchanger using hydrogen storage alloy is provided to improve the absorption and discharge of hydrogen by forming a hydrogen channel at a peripheral part in a reaction container by a mesh. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger using hydrogen storage alloy includes a reaction container(131) filled with hydrogen storage alloy(134) inside for carrying out exothermic or endothermic reaction in response to absorption or emission of hydrogen, external heat exchange fins stacked on an outer peripheral surface of the reaction container for promoting the heat transfer with the atmospheric air, and a mesh(132a) mounted to a peripheral part in the reaction container for forming a predetermined space as a hydrogen channel, the mesh preventing the passing of hydrogen storage alloy powder but allowing hydrogen to pass.
