PURPOSE: A device for moving a tray of a disk drive is provided to simplify parts for transmitting power of a motor to a lead screw and reducing processes of an assembling work. CONSTITUTION: A drive source provides power for driving a pick-up unit(52) and ejection of a tray. A lead screw(80) transfers the pick-up unit, being rotated by driving force of the driving source, and moves in longitudinal direction for providing driving force for the ejection of the tray. An adapter element connects an output shaft(62) of the driving source with the lead screw in a straight line for rotating the lead screw and moving the lead screw in longitudinal direction at the same time. The adapter element includes a driving unit(70) installed at the output shaft of the driving source for unifiedly rotating with the output shaft, a slide(75) installed at one end of the lead screw for unifiedly rotating with the driving unit and sliding in longitudinal direction of the driving unit, and an elastic member(88) providing elastic force to maintain the combining state of the driving unit and the slide.
