PURPOSE: A head drum device of a magnetic recorder is provided to easily and firmly assemble the head drum device without extra equipment, and reduce manufacturing cost by simply forming a ring collar through a press work. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(30) has key grooves opposite with each other. A upper drum(50) rotates centering on the shaft, includes a rotational head(52) recording and playing signals, and includes a signal transmitting element(56) transmitting the signals. A lower drum(40) includes another signal transmitting element(42) interworking with the signal transmitting element of the upper drum, and at which the shaft is fixedly installed. A motor part(60) provides a rotary force rotating the upper drum. A ring collar(70) is coupled with a stator(64) of the motor part, and is mounted at the shaft for providing pre-pressure to a bearing(51) rotatively supporting the upper drum to the shaft. A stop key is secured at the key grooves of the shaft for fixing the stator of the motor part at the shaft.
