PURPOSE: An overflow control device for flowing water is provided to prevent a natural disaster such as inundation of underground facilities. CONSTITUTION: The overflow control device for flowing water comprises: a base member(210) composed of an advance side connector formed to have the same width as the width of an access gate of underground facilities, right and left connectors(214,216) coupled to both ends of the advance side connector and extended backward, and an approach side connector(218) connected to the backside of the right, left connectors(214,216); a pair of vertical members(220) installed vertically on both ends of the advance side connector, coupled to both sidewalls of the underground facilities watertightly, and provided with a watertight packing; an interception member(230) formed to close up a space formed by the connectors of the base member(210), coupled to the advance side connector, and adhered closely to both vertical members to intercept an inflow of flowing water into the underground facilities; and a driving unit(240) installed to the lower parts of the right, left connectors and drove selectively by an operating unit operated by signals from a control unit to operate the interception member.
