PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing food information using the Internet are provided to enable a user to select various kinds of foods and restaurants by enabling an Internet user to conveniently search the information for the foods and the restaurants, and to buy the selected food of the selected restaurant by selecting and ordering the restaurant close to an ordering position of the Internet user. CONSTITUTION: A member information database(DB1) manages the information and the data such as the personal information of a member, a mileage point and a coupon. A food information database(DB2) manages the information and the data such as a sort and a list of the foods. A restaurant information database(DB3) manages the information and the data such as a position of the restaurant and the order contents. A server(S) transmits and controls the information and the data of the databases(DB1,DB2,DB3). A member computer(C1) receives the information for the foods and the restaurants by connecting to the server(S) and orders the food. A restaurant computer(C2) receives the order contents of the foods from the server(S).
