PURPOSE: A quick freezer device of a side-by-side type refrigerator is provided to mount a quick freezer compartment in a freezer compartment more effectively and operate the freezer compartment as a general freezer compartment or the quick freezer compartment as necessary by selectively driving a second blower fan. CONSTITUTION: A quick freezing device of a side-by-side type refrigerator includes a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment(F) provided in parallel at right and left sides vertically, a cooler chamber(1) formed behind a rear surface of the freezer compartment as an additionally sealed space, a partition(40) separating the cooler chamber from the freezer compartment, a first blower fan(21) supplying chilled air into the freezer compartment by penetrating the partition, a first driving motor(21a) for applying rotation force to the first blower fan, a heat exchanger mounted in the cooler chamber, a quick freezer compartment(20) formed in the freezer compartment in an additionally sealed space and formed with a chilled air vent(23) at a side, an induction channel(30) extended from a side of the first blower fan to the chilled air vent of the quick freezer compartment and provided to the partition in the freezer compartment, for inducing the chilled air discharged by the first blower fan into the quick freezer compartment, a second blower fan(22) mounted to the chilled air vent of the quick freezer compartment for supplying the chilled air to the quick freezer compartment, and a second driving motor(22a) for applying rotation force to the second blower fan.
