METHOD FOR FURNISHING ONE-TIME LOCATION TRACE SERVICE AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for furnishing an one-time location trace service and a system therefor is provided to enable an object of location trace to confirm whether to use a location confirmation service, using an SMS when the location confirmation is required, without registering the use of the location confirmation service in advance. CONSTITUTION: If a location trace requester connects a location information providing server using a mobile communication terminal(S200), the server transmits a location trace service interface to the location trace requester(S205). The location trace requester inputs a mobile communication terminal number to an object desiring location trace and transmits the input number to the server(S210). The server transmits a message checking whether to permit location trace to an SMS server(S215). The SMS server transmits the received message to a mobile communication terminal of the location trace object(S220). The location trace object transmits a signal for whether to permit location trace to the location information providing server(S225). If the location trace object transmits a location trace reject signal to the location information providing server(S225), the location information providing server transmits a message for rejecting location trace to the SMS server. The SMS server transmits the location trace reject message to the location trace requester. If the location trace object transmits a location trace permit signal to the location information providing server(S225), the location information providing server requests a location trace server to trace a location of the location trace object(S230). The location trace server traces the location of the location trace object(S235) and obtains a trace result(S240). The location trace server transmits the location trace result to the location information providing server. The location information providing server transmits the location trace result to the SMS server(S250). And the SMS server transmits a message of the location trace result to the location trace requester.
