PURPOSE: Provided is a coating composition which can be used for both interior/exterior decoration of building, and protect an interior structure, and show a fire retardant effect when firing. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition comprises mineral powders consisting of 45-50 parts by weight of natural silica sand of 40-100 mesh, 20-30 parts by weight of silica stone powder of 40-100 mesh, 1-3 parts by weight of mica of 60-80 mesh, 30-40 parts by weight of color silica sand of 60-80 mesh, and further comprises 25-30 parts by weight of acrylic emulsion having viscosity of 500-1000 cps based on 100 parts by weight of the mineral powders. The coating composition further comprises 3 parts by weight or less of additives such as an antifoaming agent, plasticizer, thickening agent, and preservative, based on 100 parts by weight of the mineral powders. |
