EXTERNAL FUEL TANK OF TURTLE DECK TYPE

PURPOSE: An external fuel tank for a turtle deck type is provided to improve operating radius by increasing fuel capacity by maintaining and improving aerodynamical characteristic of an airplane. CONSTITUTION: An external fuel tank for a turtle deck type has a casing(10) to be installed a fixing device(20). The casing fixes the fixing device to a cross direction structure of a fuselage. An external fuel supply pipe(41) and a pipe connecting device(30) are connected by the casing. Therein, fuel of the casing is transferred to a fuel cell when a fuel pump(40) is operated. Therefore, the casing is used as an auxiliary fuel tank. Much fuel is filled by the external fuel tank to be stuck to the fuselage with a dorsal fairing.
