PURPOSE: A backward movement apparatus for a front seat cushion of a vehicle is provided to improve comfortableness by putting feet of a rear seat passenger on with moving the front seat cushion into a rear seat cushion, and to cut down expenses by modifying the structure of a seat track. CONSTITUTION: A backward moving device of a front seat cushion is composed of a guide bar(20) installed in the upper part of a seat track(10), integrally formed with stopper ends(22a,22b), and inserted to a lower bracket(14) of a recliner(12) for a front seat back; a tension spring(24) inserted to the guide bar and fixed in the front stopper end and the lower bracket; and a front seat cushion backward movement structure having a tension wire(30) extended sideways and backward, a locking body having recliner and seat rail lockers and a fixing end at both ends of the tension wire, a grip end(38) installed in the end of the tension wire, and a case(42) mounted in the seat track with covering the locking body. The front seat cushion is locked with inserting the recliner locker and the seat rail locker to locking grooves.
