PURPOSE: A device and method for packing piece goods is provided to transport and pack the different types of non-stackable piece goods together in a tubular bag and particularly to pack flat masses of noodles with bags of sauce and spices located thereon in the tubular bags. CONSTITUTION: In a device for packaging piece goods, a first type(A) of piece goods and plural second types(B) of piece goods are introduced into a common pack. The device has a first conveyor(1) for feeding the first type of piece goods, a second conveyor(3) for feeding the second type of piece goods, a packing station(7) for forming a flexible tube(72), and at least one feed station(2) from which the second type of the piece goods are deposited by the second conveyor to form first groups by putting the second type of the piece goods upon another at least in some parts. In each case, one of first groups is deposited on the first type of piece goods from the second conveyor by conveying units(10), which results in the formation of a second group introduced into the flexible tube. Force-applying units(5) are provided to maintain the shape of the second group as the force-applying units are introduced into the flexible tube.
