PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a abrasive film for precision polishing by use of fine abrasive particles capable of holding a required and sufficient amount of grinding liquid between a material to be ground and it when performing grinding machining and obtaining excellent abrasive performance stably without causing inconveniences such as deposition of binder and grinding burn. SOLUTION: Since organic acid alkali metallic salt soluble in water is added to the binder 34 as additive 38, the organic acid alkali metallic salt is eluted from the binder 34 by water component of the grinding liquid 28 when performing grinding machining to improve the wettability so that the required and sufficient amount of grinding liquid 28 is held between the abrasive film 20 and a ferrule 10 which is the material to be ground and excessive rise of temperature due to friction is suppressed in order to provide the abrasive film 20 capable of obtaining excellent abrasive performance stably without causing the inconveniences such as the deposit of the binder 34 and grinding burn. |
