PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a golf ball, by which the incidence of a failure due to an air residue during injection molding is reduced. SOLUTION: A mold comprises a gate 7, a cavity 35, a first slit 11, a second slit 13, a third slit 15, a first runner 21, a second runner 23, a third runner 25 and a fourth runner 27. A part of the air present in the first runner 21 is discharged from the first slit 11 by the advance of a molten resin through the first runner 21 and the remaining air flows into the second runner 23. Further, a part of the air present in the second runner 23 is discharged from the second slit 13 by the advance of the molten resin through the second runner 23 and the remaining air flows into the fourth runner 27 via the third runner 25. In addition, a part of the air present in the fourth runner 27 is discharged from the third slit 15 by the forward movement of the molten resin through the fourth runner 27 and the remaining air flows into a cavity 35 via a gate 7. |
