PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT system capable of providing an X-ray tomographic image of further high quality while ensuring the real time property in reconfiguration processing and display processing of the X-ray tomographic image, and operation console and control method therefor. SOLUTION: The rotating speed of a gantry rotation part 3 is set (S1), processing content related to the reconfiguration of the X-ray tomographic image are determined (S2), and the reconfiguration processing and display of the X-ray tomographic image including the processing of the determined contents are performed on the basis of projection data collected by scanning at the set rotating speed.
