PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature oxidation catalyst provided with capability of maintaining the catalytic activity in a high state for a long term by protecting the catalytic activity from coexisting foreign matter contained in a binder, additives at the processing, and the like which poison the catalyst, a low temperature oxidation catalyst sheet, and a low temperature oxidation catalyst filter. SOLUTION: The low temperature oxidation catalyst contains a metal oxidation catalyst comprising 0.1-20% of a metal to be used as an oxidation catalyst at a low temperature and one kind of compounds selected from hydroxides or carbonates of alkali metals or alkaline earth metals both contained in a porous adsorbent. The low temperature oxidation catalyst filter comprises the low temperature oxidation catalyst deposited on a substrate and the low temperature oxidation catalyst filter is pleated or processed to have a honeycomb structure. |
