PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent capable of efficiently and selectively adsorbing an immunoglobulin and/or an immune complex present in a humor (e.g. blood or plasma) without pretreatment of the humor, an adsorption apparatus, and a method for adsorbing the immunoglobulin and/or the immune complex. SOLUTION: This adsorbent can be obtained by immobilizing a peptide compound having a binding activity for the immunoglobulin and/or the immune complex and excellent thermostability on a water-insoluble carrier. The resultant adsorbent has stability to sterilizing operation essential for medical uses and remarkably improved adsorptivity. The adsorption apparatus is filled with the adsorbent.
