PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for stacking a group of vessels where by vessels supplied in a single row onto a conveyor are stacked on a pallet in aligned condition while the device size remains small. SOLUTION: Vessels supplied onto the conveyor are separated in a certain number in single-row arrangement and stopped, and a certain number below one half of those rows placed in one stage on the pallet are aligned, transported onto the pallet and stacked, and vessels belonging to one stage are stacked on the pallet by executing such an operating cycle in a plurality of runs, which allows establishing the intended vessel aligning device, transporting device, etc., in a small and simple construction.
