PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flexible electronic endoscope instrument which utilizes a video processor for an electronic endoscope instrument for an old electronic endoscope not equipped with the bending state detecting function of an insertion part made of a flexible tube as the video processor for processing the imaging signal of an endoscope observation image and which is user-friendly and is easily handled even if it is equipped with the bending state detecting function. SOLUTION: A curve detection signal connector 66 for outputting an electric signal converted from the optical output of an optical fiber 21 for detecting a curve is provided at a connecting position where an imaging signal connector 61 never interfere with the video processor 7 when it is connected with the video processor 7.
