PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection device capable of reducing an injury value of an occupant by realizing a vehicle body deceleration waveform for suitably reducing deceleration of the occupant. SOLUTION: A chassis extending in front and rear directions to couple a part of a seat belt and a vehicle body part including seats are made relatively movable in front and rear directions. At a front collision time, the chassis relatively moves backward for the vehicle body part and deceleration larger than average deceleration (vehicle body deceleration) is stably generated in a part (a buckle, for instance) of the seat belt to strengthen restraining of the seat belt. When the part of the seat belt is moved by prescribed quantity, deceleration of an opposite direction is generated by preventing the moving by an acceleration generation means provided between the chassis and the vehicle body part. At a collision terminal period, the whole of the occupant and the vehicle can be integrally decelerated at average deceleration, and thereby the favorable vehicle body deceleration waveform without rapidly increasing occupant deceleration can be realized.
