PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thawing apparatus to perform quick thawing of food generating little drip. SOLUTION: The housing 1, 20, 50 of the thawing apparatus contains a fan 7, 26, 36 for generating circulating air flow, an electric heater 10, 25, 55 and a heat-exchanger 9, 24, 54 and an electric field is formed in the housing to control the temperature of the circulating air flow to meet the temperature rise of the food to be thawed. Quick thawing of the food can be carried out while generating little drip.
