PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high productivity and to reduce cost in relation to a method for producing a molding from cellulose-containing waste materials including milk cartons. SOLUTION: Waste milk cartons are crushed by a crusher to 10 mm<2> size and split by a splitter into fiber masses of about 4 mm length, 85 pts.wt. of the split waste milk cartons 8 are mixed with about 15 pts.wt. polyester fiber binder and the mixture is molded into an article of a prescribed shape by pressing in a mold under heating.
