A machine tool with bar kinematic positioning of tools (19) and/or components contains three slides (5, 6, 7), which are positionable next to each other with a common axial direction in guides (2, 3, 4) on a substantially integral machine bed (1). Each slide (5, 6, 7) has two mounting points (10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 21) for bars (14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23) whose other ends jointly engage on a platform (18) and/or support plate and/or a tool carrier. The joint points (20, 21) on the centre of the three slides (5, 6, 7) are located in a plane parallel to the bedplane, the mounting points (10, 11, 12, 13) of the two side slides (5, 7) are on the vertical planes, which are directed on these slides (5, 7) in longitudinal direction of the guides (2, 3, 4) and/or a structure or a console (8, 9) on this slide (5, 7). These consoles (8, 9) may be supported on the machine bed (1) by additionally receiving transverse forces. The main processing direction of the tool (19) coincides with the direction of the slide guides (2, 3, 4).<IMAGE> |
