PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically transporting device capable of preventing rubbish, etc., from falling off even if the rubbish placed on a net is scattered. SOLUTION: The vertically transporting device for rubbish, etc., 13 is configured so that chains or cables are set tightly parallel in such an arrangement as running around a plurality of floors of a building and the net 24 having rectangular meshing for placing of rubbish is set over between the chains or cables, wherein a soft sheet 25 is overlapped on the net 24.
