PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of spraying a chemical liquid by facilitating the judgment whether a flow rate sensor is abnormal or not in a boom sprayer. SOLUTION: In this boom sprayer, the flow rate sensor 32 detecting the flow rate of the chemical liquid and a pressure sensor 31 detecting the pressure thereof are installed in a spout line 27 for feeding the chemical liquid supplied from a pump P through a flow control valve 24 by opening a spray cock C, and the spray volume of the chemical liquid is controlled based on the opening degree of the flow control valve 24. When the flow rate detected by the flow rate sensor 32 is equal to or below a predetermined value and the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 31 is within a predetermined range, the flow sensor is judged to be abnormal.
