PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flatbed offset printer capable of rapidly and accurately measuring a mounting state of a blanket of a blanket cylinder. SOLUTION: The flatbed offset printer 10 comprises a frame 11, a plate platen 12 fixed onto the frame 11, and a printing platen 13. A carriage 15 runs along the frame 11, and the blanket cylinder 14 is held at the carriage 15. The carriage 15 takes a waiting position S separate from the plate platen and the platen 13. A non-contact type distance sensor 30 for measuring the thickness of the blanket 14a of the cylinder 14 is installed at the position S. |
