PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal scrap grinder which needs a reduced space and efficiently recycles metal scrap and to provide a metal scrap press. SOLUTION: A breaking part 11 that effects the volume reduction and crush of metal scrap has rotational screw cutters 20-24 each of which is prepared by arranging screw-like cutting edges on the periphery of a cylinder and coaxially arranged rotational saw-like cutters 25-28 which are inserted between a plurality of the cutters 20-24 and in which the tip of each edge protrudes more than the edge surface of each screw-like cutter does.
