PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem that a discharge amount when warm water supply is started is normally reduced compared with a normal amount immediately after the end of heating water in an electric water heater. SOLUTION: When a warm water supply operation is performed during a prescribed time t since the end of water heating, a control means 6 controls a power source 7, applies a starting voltage 6 V for two seconds, which is equal to or more than a normal warm water supply voltage 5 V, so as to supply warm water by driving a motor-driven pump 3 and returns a voltage to the normal warm water supply voltage 5 V. Then air bubbles in the motor-driven pump 3 are forcibly discharged together with a liquid 2 during the appliance of the starting voltage 6 V, the discharge amount does not become smaller than the normal discharge amount even in the case of warm water supply immediately after the end of water heating, the normal warm water supply voltage 5 V is fixed and, then, stable warm water supply performance is obtained.
