<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable computer that can deal with even an application needing a mass memory and also is good in portability. SOLUTION: This portable computer has a computer main body unit 10 and a flexible disk unit 30 that can be freely attached to and detached from the main body unit 10. The main body unit 10 is provided with a hard disk 16, a memory 13, a CPU 11, a keyboard part, a displaying part 15 and a main body extension connector 19 used for the connection to the flexible disk unit 30, which are connected to a common bus line respectively, data can be loaded to the hard disk 16 from the disk unit 30 by connecting the connector 19 to the disk unit 30, and even when the disk unit 30 is disconnected, data processing can be conducted on the basis of the data from the hard disk 16.</p> |
