PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic gate door opening device at a low production cost having good assembly workability while reliably performing gate door opening and closing operation. SOLUTION: A gate door 1 made with frame members connected rigidly has a plurality of wheels 2 and moves on a rail during opening and closing. The automatic opening device is equipped with a chain 13 attached the gate door 1 through a mounting bracket 11 and extended over the whole length of the gate door 1, a motor housed in a case 21 installed near the truck, and a sprocket 37 installed to a shaft for outputting the rotation power of the motor and interlocked with the chain 13 attached to the shaft. The mounting bracket 11 comprises an upper side horizontal portion 11b extending in a horizontal direction from the upper edge of a vertical portion fixed to the gate door 1, a lower side horizontal portion extending in a horizontal direction from the lower edge of the vertical portion, and a flange portion 11d extending upward from the tip of the lower side horizontal portion. A chain housing portion 11e is formed at the upper side horizontal portion 11b. The lower side horizontal portion and the flange portion 11d cover the sprocket 37 from lower side at the interlocking place between the chain 13 and sprocket 37 and the tip of the flange portion 11d is located close to the shaft portion of the sprocket 37. |
