<p>A transparent polyamide composition comprising 5-40 wt.% amorphous polyamide (B), 0-40 wt.% of a flexible polyamide (C), 0-20 wt.% compatibilizing agent (D) and a semi-crystalline polyamide (A) to 100 wt.%. The total of (C)+(D) is 2-50 wt.%. (B)+(C)+(D) is 30 wt.% or more. A transparent polyamide composition comprising 5-40 wt.% amorphous polyamide (B), 0-40 wt.% of a flexible polyamide (C), 0-20 wt.% compatibilizing agent (D) and a semi-crystalline polyamide (A) to 100 wt.%. The total of (C)+(D) is 2-50 wt.%. (B)+(C)+(D) is 30 wt.% or more. Polyamide (B) is the result of condensation of at least one optionally cycloaliphatic diamine and optionally one or more of: an alpha-omega- amino cycloaliphatic carboxylic acid, an aliphatic diacid or aliphatic diamine.
