<p>The seat area of the chair is assembled of two layers (2, 3), kept at a distance by several vertical elements (4) and provided with two parallel positioned diagonal guide slots (5) leading from the outer edge towards the center. An adjustment device (1) with two lateral guide rails, three transversal elements, and a gas pressurized spring is positioned underneath the seat parallel to slots (5). Two L-shaped back part carrying bars (8, 8A), their vertical segments guided through the slots (5) and the lower ends attached to the rail are moved to the front, the rear respectively, in order to increase or reduce the seat area limited by the two-winged back part (7).</p> |
