CABLE JOINT AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable joint and a method of forming the cable joint which facilitate a work for removing a water-proof compound layer when the cable joint is dismantled. SOLUTION: A tearing wire is buried beforehand in a water-proof compound layer near the boundary surface between the compound layer and a cable joint box. When the cable joint is dismantled, the tearing wire is strongly pulled to cut the water-proof compound layer to open, so that the water-proof layer can be removed easily.
