A board (2) made of wood-based materials e.g. high density fibreboard (HDF) or medium density fibreboard (MDF) has a surface covered by a hot-press-applied printed decor pattern web. The decor pattern web (7) is covered by a translucent or transparent layer (11) of material with a surface structure. The top layer (11) has esp. two or more different (e.g. glossy, rough) surface structures (12, 13).
