PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a harmonic current applied to a three-phase AC motor. SOLUTION: This motor controller has a fundamental wave current control means 2 which controls a fundamental current of a three-phase AC motor M in orthogonal coordinates (d-q coordinates) comprising a d-axis and a q-axis and rotating synchronously with the rotation of the motor M, and a harmonic current control means 3 which controls a harmonic current of the motor M in orthogonal coordinates (dh-qh coordinates) comprising a dh-axis and a qh-axis and rotating with a frequency integral multiple of a frequency of a fundamental component of a current applied to the motor M. Further, the motor controller has an estimating means 35 which estimates a harmonic speed electromotive force of the motor M in the dh-qh coordinates, and a compensating means 36 which compensates the harmonic speed electromotive force estimated by the estimating means 35. |
