PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the operability not different from that of ordinary transmission of electronic mail from a client by a mail transfer system that is in operation in the inside of a firewall. SOLUTION: A setting means 30 of the mail transfer system sets sender addresses of electronic mail being a transfer object, transfer destination addresses and transfer conditions or the like through the operation from client PCs and respectively stores them to a setting file. A reception means 40 acquires the sender address from the setting file to acquire newly arrived electronic mail from a sender address of a mail server 70 and to temporarily store it to a reception file. A transmission means 50 acquires the transfer conditions from the setting file, collates the transfer conditions of the electronic mail in the reception file with the acquired transfer conditions to acquire the destination address from the setting file and attaches the acquired destination address to the electronic mail in the reception file to transmit the resulting electronic mail to the mail server 70. The mail server 70 uses its function to deliver the electronic mail to the Internet after that and to transfer the electronic mail to the destination address.
