PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic conference method for communicating with a specific participant in a conference of many participants, an electronic conference system, a server for the systems, terminals, and an electronic conference program. SOLUTION: In the system connecting a plurality of terminals and a server through a network, each terminal receives the input of a message, specifies a transmitting source of the message and transmits the message from the terminal to the server. The server receives and stores messages from each of the terminals, selects a message to be provided to each terminal on the basis of the specified transmitting source and provides the selected message to the terminal concerned.
