A floor skirting assembly comprising a masking strip (1) and a connector (4). The masking strip is made of a closed coat, preferably from PVC, which cross-section is separated in chambers (27, 28, 29, 30) by ribs (26), and the strip has an elongated tongue (19), basically parallel to the wall surface, forming with a truncation of the strip, an outline of the reversed letter V, and this tongue mates with the tongue (8) of the connector (4) distance flange (7). The assembly can be provided with internal corner elements, external corner elements and elements which mask strip contact; they have a coat which corresponds to the shape of the strip and rib with an oblique inlet and catch in the lower part in order to be fixed on the connector, while inlet surface have riffles which mate, after fixing, with catches of the connector feather. The end finishing elements of the strip comprise cylindrical elements, preferably in the form of a sleeve and bearing elements, preferably in a shape close to rectangle, in order to be fixed on the ends of the strip. End elements are a mirror reflection to each other. |
