<p>The invention relates to a spinning machine comprising drafting rollers (1), a compacting device (3) and a spinning device (5) for a respective bunch of fibers (71), several of said devices being arranged next to each other in a spinning machine, also comprising a compacting element (31) arranged inside said compacting device (3), further comprising a suction device consisting of a forked pipe (62) wherein two suction pipes (62) with openings (66) lead into a collector pipe (64). Suction elbows (62a) of the suction pipe (62) encompass a yarn spun from the drafting rollers (1) in such a way that the opening (66) of a suction tube (62) is located below a locking roller (35) and, in the direction of vision of an observer from the right, lies in front of said yarn (73) as shown in figure 2, whereupon the suctioning effect is especially improved when the counter roller (31) or exit roller (31) making up the drafting rollers (1) has a large diameter, i.e. a diameter of more than 30mm.</p> |
