PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily identify a caller at the arrival of an incoming call. SOLUTION: The cable modem includes; a caller information setting section 20 for setting caller information in which a caller number and information sent at the arrival of the incoming call are made corresponding, a retrieval section 24 for retrieving information set by the caller information setting section 20 on the basis of notified at the arrival of the incoming call when the incoming call arrives in a connected telephone set to acquire corresponding information; and a caller information transmission section 28 for transmitting the information retrieved by the retrieval section 24 to the telephone set receiving the incoming call. |
