PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device which can surely cut off a drive current corresponding to occurrence of various faults with a simple and low price sensor and a normal current breaker. SOLUTION: A power supply plug 50 connected at the end of a power supply cord 26 is provided with the current breaker to sense flooding or leakage of electricity. The one power supply line 32-1 led into a hair-dryer 25 from the power supply cord 26 is connected with a power supply switch 31, while the first sensor 34 and the second sensor 39 which are usually opened in the normal condition and closed when a fault is detected in a gripping portion 27 and a blowing portion 28 are respectively allocated between the other power supply line 32-2 and a sensing line 33. The first sensor 34 and second sensor 39 are respectively configured with any one of temperature sensor, current sensor and gas sensor or the like. When the sensor is closed during occurrence of fault, a current flows into the sensing line 33 and the condition same as that in the water infiltration condition or leaking condition is generated on the current breaker side. Therefore, a current of hair-dryer is cut off immediately. |
