PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a rotation efficiency of an ultrasonic motor and reduce the rotation irregularity. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic motor 11 has a housing 12, a stator 13, a rotor 14, etc., which are arranged with the rotation axis A of the rotor 14 as their center. The stator 13 has a lower block 16, an upper block 17, first and second piezoelectric devices 18 and 19, and first, second, and third electrode plates 21, 22, and 23. First coupling surfaces 27, used when the stator 13 is incorporated, are provided on the low side of the lower block 16 so as to face each other. Restriction unit side fitting surfaces 39e, which are formed so as to corresponding to the first fitting surfaces 27, are provided on the upper stator restriction unit 39b of the stator restriction unit 39 of the housing 12. By engaging the restriction unit side coupling surfaces 39e with the first coupling surfaces 27, the stator 13 is pressed toward the rotor 14 side and the movement of the stator 13 in the rotating direction with the rotation axis A as the center of rotation can be restricted. |
