<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform exclusive control every file in performing remote double writing between storage control devices and sharing a file from each upward device. SOLUTION: A shared file control device 5 of a file input/output device 3 has a table for storing control information for making writing/reading exclusive every file, sets exclusive control information of a specified file in an exclusive state on receiving a data writing request from an upward device 2, and sets exclusive control information of the file of a shared file control device 15 by issuing a command through a LAN 7. Data is then written in a storage medium of a remote double writing device 6, and copied to the storage medium of the remote double writing device 16 via a SAN 8. Memories of the shared file control devices 5 and 15 have copy of file managing information, and file managing information is matched by the managing information copy through the LAN 7.</p> |
